I love Mondays to no end but this week I think I REALLY love seeing Monday. ROFL!! Friday I took Julie to a friend’s for a sleepover. Saturday morning I took a flying rip (in the lemon-y truck) to Simcoe to pick up a dog crate. Once the truck hits 70KM it starts to vibrate but then settles down after it gets to about 90KM. Nerve wracking. ROFL!! It also has started stalling whenver you stop it longer than 3 seconds. Every single stop sign and set of lights I hit from my town to Simcoe (1/2 hour away) the truck stalled. I’m sure the people behind me were really impressed. NOT! Picked up a dog crate, came back to town, picked up Julez & then headed home. By the time I got home I had a splitting headache from the vibration and the stress. An hour later we were back on the road to go to dance class & then I took her to a different friend’s place for 2 hours then had to get BACK into the vehicle to pick her up and come home because Hailey was coming over for the night. ROFL! I was glad to get into my jammies and do nothing. The girls just giggled themselves silly the whole evening but both were out cold by 11. Woke up at 7 when Steve came home from work, cleaned up the pillow mountain/fort/private territory=BUZZ OFF Mom!!, loaded the girls into the car because I had to meet Hai’s mom in Caledonia as I had to get a flowergirl’s dress ordered for Julez and get her fitted. I had called to make sure they were open and they told me that yes they were and Sunday was the best time as it wasn’t busy. No shit. Because it was closed. What a wasted trip. Back to the car & made another trip to Simcoe to return the dog crate because it wasn’t big enough. Got that returned and stopped at Walmart on my way out of town and found the right sized crate so I grabbed it and a bed too that was marked down from $45 to $20. Got home and decided I am NOT moving anywhere. I don’t care if the house is on fire. I am not moving. LOL! Back into the jammies and we vegged all aft. Set up the crate so we just have to pick up a few toys & stock up on newspapers for potty training. LOL! Three more weeks….
What’s up for today? Laundry. Tidying the house, perhaps making an apple pie…

Whew – I’m kinda glad it’s Monday too! We have to go to WalMart as well…but after the upheaval of the weekend, I think I can handle grocery shopping and errands. The freebies are up – love the kit.
PS – DH said to check the motor mounts and the front tires for the vibration thing as his car used to have that issue to – one of the tires was out of round and he had a collapsed motor mount. Not fun, but if caught early, it won’t wear a hole in the oil pan.

I so love mauve! I think I’m going to have to get this one! I’ve always loved this colour but it wasn’t always in fashion & at those times I just couldn’t wear it, like, wouldn’t be seen dead!
But before that, when I was about 16 or so there were these gorgeous pale mauve stirrup pants, I think they were, and a most fabulous fluffy matching jumper. They were going to be in a sale next day and the lady wouldn’t let me have it for the sale price; told me I’d have to come back tomorrow. Well, that was just too risky for me so I bought it full price! Now, of course, I can wear whatever colour I goddam choose!! ROFL. Sheeez! I must be getting old – I’m reminiscing, for goodness sake!
Did I tell you we got the Canon 1000D? I think it’s a Rebel in your parts. Bought a neat bag for it yesterday – like a backpack &, love this! it has a place for my laptop! How cool is that!? One bag for cabin baggage! Also got UV lenses for each of the lenses just for a bit of protection. My sister & I are going on a road trip in March so I’ve made sure I can use the self-timer, hehehe.
The layouts here are great & I’m impressed with the card. Yeah, it must be a good feeling to see your products being used in this way and in the layouts. Some people are just so arty-farty. When I try these things, I end up with glue everywhere with inherent dirt marks or I don’t quite follow the instructions (who does!?) and miss an important step, lol! You’d think I would’ve learned.
Boy! What a trip you had! Life is not dull with you, is it! I’d have been REALLY cranky to have confirmed the shop’s hours & then find it closed after going through all of that! Happily awaiting your next story …
