My hat is off to sleep deprived mothers everywhere. I don’t know how anyone can function with a broken sleep because LORD knows I sure as hell can’t. LOL! All I need are 5 hours. But they have to be uninterrupted hours or my body starts to revolt on itself. I cannot carry a conversation, my sleep patterns are all wonky and my pain levels are through the roof. I slipped on the snowy deck yesterday taking dum-dum out for a piddle and almost ripped my already bad shoulder out of it’s socket. I was out there for a good 15 minutes yelling and cussing and generally freaking out. Cheddar was looking at me like “Man….what’s YOUR problem..” ROFL!! Oh I was in sooooo much pain. Tuesday I go for an ultrasound on that shoulder so I’m really hoping we get some concrete answers because so far I am not amused with my drs office. I am B12 deficeint (which is why my fingers are tingling) but I also haven’t been able to get my test results to see if in fact I have rheumatoid arthritis as the dr. thinks.. The drs asst. called and said “I made a note for him to call you about those results when you come back for more bloodwork in 3 months” and then hung up on me. Excuse me? I think it’s time for some ball busting. I only have two more pills left of my anti-inflammatories so I’m going to pop in after my ultrasound and see if I can get another prescription (maybe my test results?). I am so fed up it isn’t even funny. He’s great with Steve and Julie but a real PITA with me. Rude , ignorant and treats you like you a waste of his time. I may be wasting your time bud, but I only go to the dr when I can no longer handle the hurt and am looking for help. Help me FFS.
Enough ranting/whining. Where was I now?
Hubs is now on holidays for three weeks. What does that mean? HE gets to do potty training. After all the bitching & accusations he did at me, I will enjoy the tables being turned. He discovered today that you cannot turn your back on Cheddar for one second because he will take a shine to a spot and just pee there. You clean up the mess and when you come back into the living room he has peed somewhere else. Sigh. I was listening to him rant and roar from the sanity of a hot bath….what did you say honey? Potty training was difficult? No shit Sherlock. sucks to be you……BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (OK my evil side is coming out from having no sleep last night. Pup had me up at 1:30, 3:30, 5:30 and 6:30….I’m a tiny bit punch drunk.
)
Crashing into my bed in 3….2…..1…..
Nite folks.

Just a quickie post today. I have a busy day with errands and other nonsense plus we are supposedly getting some snow. Cheddar is doing really well with his potty training although today he has the runs so there are tons of accidents. He went to the vet for his checkup and it was very informative. More on that next week. He’s healthy…don’t worry.
Here’s a freebie!!

Sorry to post and run. Have a good weekend!!!

Well I tell ya if I wasn’t a morning person before, I certainly am now with the puppy!! ROFL!! The last three mornings I have been up since 4 in the morning when Cheddar wants to start his day. By 11 in the morning I am dead on my feet. I got a 45 minute snooze yesterday before he wanted to play and piddle but that 45 minutes was better than nothing. My routine has gone completely out the window and am a walking zombie but I seem to be getting the dog onto a routine with his meals, crate time and potty breaks. Huge thanks to Bean for her awesome tips, encouragement and sanity breaks when I was having a mini-meltdown. Love ya darlin’!!! Mwah!!!
Cheddar is trying VERY hard to make friends with the cats. He sticks his nose in Whickers butt and gets a swat in the head (although in the cat’s defense…if you stuck your nose in my ass I would hit you too. ROFL). Snickers is slowly tolerating him. This morning Cheddar was chasing her around the living room and diningroom. The cat was running away but she kept coming back. She’s getting used to him. Less hissing and growling and she’s started drinking from the toilet because Cheddar is a sloppy water drinker and there are puddles by the water dish and she doesn’t like that. ROFL!! I give it another week and the two of them will be buddies. Then look out…
The highlight of my day (besides my 45 minute snooze) ? Getting a phone call from my best friend Connie. Ten days ago Connie called and broke the news to me that she had gone for a checkup. They had found a large lump in her breast and she was booked for a mastectomy and lymph node removal on March 12. She was to plan for chemo and radiation and possibly not be eleigible for breast reconstruction. I had planned to go to my hometown anyways in March to visit her but now I was going to help my BFF recover from major surgery. Tests were done, fear and panic set in and more tests were done. Yesterday she went for her biopsy where it was discovered that the lump WASN’T a cancerous tumor but in fact a cyst that has since been drained. The radiologist was ticked off that Connie was told it was cancer and given this horrible prognosis BEFORE any test results were in. Can you imagine? Telling your family and trying to mentally prepare for a mastectomy and months of chemo and radiation only to be told “whoops…our bad. We jumped the gun. Carry on as normal…”. When Connie called me yesterday to give me the news, I just sagged on the floor and started to silently cry in relief. I’m still going to visit in March but we’ll chat and bash and be ourselves rather than talk in fear about “what ifs”. Man I could kick her doctor’s ass right now for putting us all through that for no reason…..
Well I’m going to sign off, put Cheddar in his crate and have some breakfast. I’ve been up since 5 today and I’m starved… Chat soon!!!

Monday…how much I love thee….ROFL!! Whiny kid back at school, hubby is working days the next few days and then he’s on holidays for 3 weeks to do puppy training. I am pulling all nighters until Wednesday. When puppy barks to let us know he has to pee, I run out, put on my boots and coats, grab him and run outside to put him out. I am not chasing him around the living room with a puddle pad to put it under him when he squats…not at two in the morning. Pee outside. ROFL!! Yesterday the house stunk from piddles so it got mopped with vinegar and water. Smelled like a french fry . LOL!! I had to go to the bathroom so I asked Julie to WATCH the dog & if he was circling and squatting to put the pad under him. Well she was watching and then watched him pee on the floor (no pad under him). Then she yelled at me that she couldnt watch him 24/7 ya know!!!! Whatever….take your drama to your room. I’ll pee next week…ROFL Can you see what broken sleep does to me? I never had broken sleep with Julie. I was spoiled because Steve did all night shifts until she slept through the night from 9-6 at 6 weeks. LOL I’ll get over it…he will hopefully be potty trained in another 2 weeks…Anyhow, Sunday night was a good one. Cheddar is already starting to head to the door when he has to go. (It’s getting the hubby to understand that the dog has to pee…he said “I’ll take him out later” and then he piddles on the floor less than 2 minutes later…nice one bonehead. Next time you see him at the door, put him out…he’s trying to tell you something. ROFL!) He was in his crate last night and slept thru with no accidents either when we got him up to go outside and feed him, so that’s good. He’s learning quickly. The fat cat LOVES the crate and dog bed but doesn’t like it when he gets squirted with a water bottle for stealing them and trying to attack the pup to defend his right to the dog’s stuff. You have your own princess bed Whiskers…leave Cheddar’s stuff alone. LOL! Snickers isnt very happy at the moment but is hissing less and will be in the same room as the dog. She’ll come around. I started to howl last night when there was a face off between the pup and Snickers. Cheddar barked and scared the crap out of the cat and she took off. ROFL!!! Want to see what Cheddar looks like?

His first time outside in the snow. He LOVES the snow. Pouncing, romping and trying to eat it all…

Wherever Julie is, Cheddar is not far behind. He likes to gnaw on her ankles. Better hers than mine..LOL!!
He just had his breakfast and a bath. He no longer stunk like puke and kennel. Now he’s all baby-powder scented puppy shampoo..ROFL!!
Well if you signed up for my newsletter, you got a wee goodie in Friday’s issue.

Thanks so much for signing up! If you make a LO with it, let me know! I’d love to see it! Here’s two …

These are Jan’s 3 kids. Gorgeous LO Jan! Thanks so much!!!!

I did this one. Miss Morgan is the daughter of my buddy Paula. She is quite the ham for the camera. ROFL!!
Well that is it for me. Pup is conked out now that his belly is full and he’s had his pill with peanut butter. Julie is off to school and I’m going to shower and then have to go check out dog foods, make an appt with the vet to verify Cheddar’s health and book next needles and then maybe do some laundry…maybe. LOL!

Very exciting weekend for us. We go pick up Cheddar tomorrow and Sunday is our 13th wedding anniversary. We are both more excited about the puppy…ROFL!!!
Had a good appointment with the dr. for a change. Tested me for fibromyalgia. However yesterday was a good(?) day for me pain-wise and I was only flaring in 5 spots rather than the 8 needed for a diagnosis. HOWEVER….he is very concerned about my hands and my shoulder and has run a few tests and has scheduled me for an ultrasound on my shoulder to see what kind of damage we are looking at. Some of the test results should be in next week so I hope to know more by then. I now have meds to help with the pain so that’s good. It doesn’t fix it or make ALL the pain go away but it helps.
Well that is it for me today. No blog freebie today because there is a freebie in the newsletter which is going out in 3…2…1….
Have a great weekend!!

…the weekend. I can hardly wait!
Everything hurts on me today so I’m going to keep this post short and sweet. My hands don’t work properly to type anyway. I’ve been up since 4am. No reason. Just woke up. Cat got all excited thinking she was getting fed super-early. Not likely. Got coffee made but I’m not moving too fast today. All my joints have seized up and don’t want to move so it hurts everywhere. Figures. I have a busy day too. Want to get the newsletter typed out with the surprise for tomorrow, get the house puppy-proofed, make a chicken pot pie for supper and then I have a doctor’s appt. this aft to hopefully have him listen to my pain woes and take me seriously for once. I can’t stand this guy so my appts are usually always an exercise in frustration. We’ll see how today goes. I’m not holding my breath though. Sigh.
Well I better get my butt in gear and start this newsletter. Have a great day!

Welcome to the home of the ever changing blog template! ROFL!! I changed it 4 times yesterday I think, before I found one that I like & that looks nice on this monitor. My monitor is 21″ and the last few templates have cut off right in the middle. Looks great on the laptop but that sucker is only 15 inches. I needed something to stretch across and not distort pics or anything else.I like the green too so I kept it . For now. I do like changing my blog up so you NEVER know what it’s going to look like any given day….Bwahahahaha
We are having a pretty quiet week so far. No complaints here. Steve is working nights, and I am trying to get in to see my family doctor for a shoulder problem. This weekend is the fun one. Friday, Julie is going to a friends overnight and Saturday we are heading up north to pick up Cheddar and bring him home!! It will be a very long day. It’s a 2 1/2 hr. drive one way in good weather. We are driving into the snow belt so good weather isn’t an option. ROFL!! I’ll be in the back with the puppy though so we’ll be fine. Steve will be stressed out. ROFL!! I bought the last of the toys yesterday and I’ve been trying to puppy-proof the house. The kid doesn’t understand that puppies chew everything so I have a feeling her Bratz legs or heads will get chewed. maybe then she will learn to pick her shit up. LOL! Anyway you look at it, we are ready for Cheddar’s arrival (other than kibbles). We are waiting to see what stuff the breeder was feeding him before we buy anything. Three more big sleeps!!!!
Well I’m going to pour myself some coffee and get some work done. I have some more texture plates to package up as well as some other stuff to finish on my to-do list. Have a great day!!! xoxo
