I’m late , I’m late for a very important date….

Actually no I’m not, but I COMPLETELY forgot to blog this morning. Got the kid on the school bus and then took off into the city to do my monster groceries. Haven’t been done in a  month and the cupboards were bare…Stuffed the trunk of the car to the gills but at least now we have food and bum wad. LOL Why is bum wad so damned expensive? LOL It isn’t right…..recycled trees to wipe your butt and it costs an arm and a leg….for that price I want my butt to sparkle is all I’m sayin’…ROFL. Twinkle dammit….

Before I started rambling and forget why I’m here I’m just going to post the Friday freebie…

Morning folks…

I’m feeling so very lazy this morning. My daughter isn’t too willing to get moving and go to school today either.

“I’m tired Mom….”

Really? And I’m not? I’ve been awake since 4:45. ROFL. She was sound asleep by 8:30 too. I was in bed watching a movie (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen..LOVE that movie) when less than halfway through, the DVD player died  and I was too lazy to grab the laptop and hook it up to continue watching the movie….mostly because the cats were already comfy snuggled up to my butt and I didn’t want to disturb them because then my butt would be cold again. So I read. ROFL!!

To keep myself entertained this freakin’ early I have been listening to tons of Pat Benatar songs on You Tube. This is the one I have on now…You Better Run. It’s very hard to keep the volume down on some of these songs.I don’t want to wake up Steve but man, it’s hard…LOL

I have been keeping busy the last few days scrapping but I can’t show you most of them yet. Cruel eh? Kim is having some major PC issues so she is delayed a bit dealing with that. I thought PC’s were supposed to make our lives easier …not muck them up?! LOL She’ll be ready to rip in another day so I can be patient…maybe. I can show you one of the LO’s I did…

You can see the full size version here: This has been the weirdest winter. We have had a total of 5 inches of snow which lasted a total of a week. Now there is nothing on the ground. I figured we’ll get pasted with snow late in February and we’ll have a white long weekend in May. ROFL Hubs has been out on his machine for a week and now he’s whining again because it’s parked in the garage…

Excuse me Mother Nature……GET YOUR ASS IN GEAR PLZ???? He’s driving me insane….thank you!!!

Anywho, I have been keeping busy cleaning out the CU folders (on track for that) and am downloading the site and backing it up before I make some upgrades. The downloading is taking forever because my computer decided to upgrade itself and restart itself in the middle of the night, shutting down my ftp client in the process. Keeping busy and out of mischief…

Well folks I am going to sign off and get some fresh coffee and get my butt in gear. I’ve been awake for almost 4 hours and it feels like my day is half over already…Freakin’ menopause…..

The countdown has begun in this house. It’s been a very long three months since Manny died but we’re that much closer to hearing yips, barks and smelling puppy breath. Whiskers will NOT be amused. Snickerboobles will be thrilled! ROFL!!

The breeder sent us pictures of our new baby Golden doodle. Right now he’s only 3 weeks old so he won’t be able to leave his mom and come home until Feb 20th. We all have fallen in love with him. We have already named him Cheddar. Now we are on the hunt for a crate, bedding and a slew of other stuff a new puppy needs. This month will fly!!!

I also got a really cool email on Saturday telling me my layout using Renee’s kit, A Letter From The Heart, was chosen as a lovely layout.

What is really cool about that is that is was chosen by someone who actually visited my blog. It’s not a computer script. It’s a real human. LOVE that!!! Thanks so much Kathi! You made my day!!!

This week has just been a blur. Maybe there has just been so much stuff going on in real life that I haven’t had time to check and see what day it is. Connie you need to come for a cup of tea…get Roger on that would ya?! ROFL!!

Been a busy week with the stupid truck and then yesterday I was in the city a good chunk of the day for my colposcopy. They are doing construction on the hospital so everything is upside down. I have never been there before and ended up getting lost 4 times. LOL!! I’ve never been so glad to get out of there and find my car I tell ya…The nurse and doctor at the clinic were wonderful. They had tons of information and no question was too stupid. They were really good to allay any fears I had. Good thing too because my family doctor is lousy at that. Anyway, he found a weird spot so he did a biopsy too. I even watched the whole thing on the monitor. I don’t think I ever want to see my twat up close like that again , however it was fascinating to see what was going on and what he was doing. Test results should be about 4 weeks but he said if the results raise a red flag for him he’ll call personally. I have to keep going back every six months until at least two in a row show clear results. Most patients take 2-3 years…fun stuff.(please note plenty of sarcasm)Haha. I am still trying to get into see my family doc for a  follow up for the chest thing. I’ve written down all the changes in my body over the last year. I think I know what I have but my doctor doesn’t like it when his patients do their research.He thinks that he has the education, he knows my body best. I figure I live in my body, I know it best. It will be interesting to see if we have a fight or not.

Anyhoo, yesterday I took some time to scrap a little . This layout is Julie’s friend Hailey and her Uncle “B”.

Hai is just a dolly. I heart that child . She’s so much fun to have over. Polite, eats well, cleans up her messes, snorts when she laughs and is just a blast!!! Uncle B is her mom Mandie’s brother. Thanks for letting me pilfer your FB and post our girl Mandie!!!(I consider her just as much mine too..) HAPPY BIRTHDAY today too!!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Morning peoples! I’m here Robin and I’m OK …I just haven’t felt much like yakkin’.

Friday I slept a good chunk of the day. The meds they gave me for the chest issue worked. The swelling was and pain was gone by Friday afternoon, however the meds made me really groggy so it slept it off. My sternum was sore to the touch for a few days but other than that I’m fine. Friday night Julie was invited to a  sleepover so I dropped her off after school, took my meds and then was out cold on the couch by 9..pathetic. LOL. Went to pick up Julie later on Saturday morning. I get my truck pulled up the driveway to the house, get the kid and then in the process of doing a turn to get OUT of the driveway got it stuck. Big time. Took 2 people a  half an hour to rock my truck out of the driveway so I could get the hell home. Not amused. Took Julie to dance class and then she went to another sleepover Saturday night. Picked her up Sunday morning (this time I parked at the road because I got stuck in this driveway before and had to be pushed..LMAO). Get into town and was turning the corner at the liquor store when I heard a big BANG and the truck locked up . Pulled into the liquor store parking lot and called my neighbor, Tractor Man, to pick us up. He sent his fabulous daughter Michelle. Sunday was turning into a stinker. LOL We were barely home a half hour when Julie’s friend Hailey calls. Are you kidding me?! LOL Seeing as how we didn’t have wheels (Steve was working days), Hailey came here for the day. Hai goes home, Julez goes to bed. Busy weekend. LOL Steve comes home from hockey after work all ticked off that he now has to fix the truck on his days off. (Last week he was quite vocal about spending his only day off in the ER. I got REALLY fed up and sent him home and spent the day there by myself, scared shitless and ripping mad.) Took two days but the truck is fixed and is home. Not 100% but what can you expect for a 14 yr old truck? Turned out I broke the driveshaft mount. It was wearing out but rocking the truck when I got stuck on Saturday was the straw that broke the camel’s back so to speak…He wasn’t happy about having to fix it on the side of the road but I couldn’t “PLAN” when the driveshaft mount would break .Stupid man. At least it was only 5 minutes from home rather than in Hamilton or in my hometown, six hours away. Anyway the lemon is in the driveway now….

I did manage to get a little bit of scrapping done this week to try and calm me down.

This is my friend Kim and her husband Pete. They were in Jamaica last week and I snagged a few photos to play with. Lucky for me, Kim is a really good sport and gives me free reign!!!

Then I got a hold of Passions Blush which is Kim’s new kit. Holy crap…..

Freakin’ gorgeous stuff. The papers are to die for as usual!!! I had snagged a shot of Shannon’s daughter Nadya and this is what I did with it…A present for her momma!!!

OMG I heart this child. I love the hair color, the heart shaped face, everything….. Thanks Shannon for allowing me into Nadya’s life and for allowing me to post this!!! Mwah!!

OK folks I’m out of here. I have a ton of stuff I want to do today. If you don’t mind , keep me in your thoughts tomorrow. I am having a colposcopy and it’s really freaking me out about the biopsy part…

Boy am I glad Friday is here. Yesterday wasn’t a good day for me at all. I was woken up at 2:30 in the morning with chest pain and I was having trouble getting a deep breath. By the time Julie went to school I had Steve take me to the ER just to see what the scoop was. After 7 hours in the ER getting multiple EKGs, Xrays and a few rounds of blood work, we now know it wasn’t a heart attack. However seeing as how the pain wasn’t responding to the multiple meds they tried me on as well as shots in my arse, they released me with a prescription for muscle relaxers to try and relax the muscles in my chest. (they had to release me. The ER was full and the girl in the bed next to me was having really bad Britney Murphy issues. The paramedics brought her in with full seizures due to the multiple prescription drugs she was taking. Scary). The muscle relaxers did their thing I guess because I woke up this morning and the chest pain is gone but I’m really groggy. I’m just sore and tender but I’ll take that any day over yesterday’s pain. That was very frightening. Today I’m just going to lay low and rest. I have a new assortment of holes(and bruises) in my body from blood work and shots in my but. If you hooked me up to a hose I’d be a human sprinkler. ROFL I’m not going to do anything more strenuous than napping with an assortment of cats..

I am in slow motion this week. All this declutterring is depressing. Where in the heck did all this crap come from?! And why wasn’t it all pitched 14 years ago? Some of this stuff I ahve been trying to remember a memory or something to explain why I kept it. Nothing. LOL. Can’t have been THAT good of a memory if I can’t recall anything about it. LOL Anyway between the house and my digital files, stuff is getting thoroughly cleaned.

This is my friend Ken and his sweetheart Gail. They are so stinkin’ cute together , I can’t stand it. ROFL! I worked with Ken’s mom in the 80′s…Marilyn was one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever met. She passed away from cancer  but I think she would LOVE Gail and how happy she makes her son….

Well I’m going to sign off. I am so behind it isn’t funny and I have a ton of things I want to accomplish today. First up is to get the baked beans ready and in the crock pot…. Have a good one folks!!!
