One week left of summer before school starts again and my sanity returns… :P

It’s Sunday night when I type this out. I am in my jammies, having a cup of tea and relaxing after a busy weekend. Ya know…for someone who enjoys being a sloth…we sure have been on the run all summer. LMAO!!! What as busy weekend we had. I’m looking forward to doing laundry, purging out Miss Thang’s room and staying put for the next few days…LMAO

The wedding on Saturday was really lovely. Jennie & John were supposed to have the ceremony outside but Mother Nature was PMSing and they felt it was safer to have the ceremony indoors. Smart move. The groom started to cry when he saw his bride and Jennie in turn started to cry too., It was sooooo sweet.  I’d love to show you pictures but somebody forgot the camera at home. (not me) Whoopsy. The food was absolutely incredible. Lobster ravioli, veal tenderloin, cannolis and then at midnight a buffet of wings, nachos, sliders, crepes, Spanish coffee, cakes and homemade ice cream sammiches. Add to all that fun an open bar…well that’s just a big ass party just waitin’ to explode!!!! LMAO. There was goosin’ , cacklin’, head lickin’ (don’t ask) and a whole pile of silliness. It was a blast!!! I was dead sober too. Labor Day weekend is my weekend to get goofy. Friends of ours are having their annual party with a shooter bar…weather permitting. We’re really hoping there is noooooooooooooo rain or I will be robbed of a party where I’m not the DD dammit!!! LOL!! I tell ya though. I was never so glad to get home and get out of the girdle and panty hose. Panty hose is evil stuff. Mine were torn off and treashed and did ya hear the “whoosh” when I took off my girdle and let my poundage free?! LOL Sweat pants never felt so good. We didn’t get to bed until after 3:30 and Snickerboobles had me up at 7:30 for her breakfast…. good thing she is cute or I would be grouchy.

Today we were back in the city to pick up Julie at her grandparents and then we went to DQ, played at round of mini-putt and then went to see the movie Shorts which we thought was the lamest movie everrrr. Gawd it was awful. Came home afterwards and feasted on a gourmet meal of Kraft Dinner. LOL. Too tired to attempt anything else.

Today I’m going to put Julie to work throwing out her crap. Her room is a wreck and I’ve had enough…:P

Hope you have a good day!!!!

Wahoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Why am I so happy about Friday? Well it’s one more sleep closer to when the Diva goes back to school….WAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! We did the majority of the back-to-school shopping yesterday. Got all the school supplies and what few clothing items she needed. We only got into one fight too. :P The drama was about skater shoes. She wanted them. WHINED for them. Created so much drama over them that her father and I were ready to strangle her. Yesterday we go to Walmart and she eyeballs a pair of black hi-tops with skulls on them and she was sold. I’ll take $20 shoes anyday over the $50 Skechers she was bugging for. (I want Skechers dammit :P ) We’ll grab the last of the stuff today at the looney store. Her backpack is already packed and ready to go. I’m sure the friggin’ thing weighs 30 pounds. She was so happy about her new skull shoes that she bought breaded shrimp with her allowance for us for supper. Nummmmmmmmmm.

Have you checked out the store recently? Mindi has a killer new kit named for her son. Have a peek..

HOLEYCOW_LOGAN_LEE_PREVIEW

Image is linked . Swing by and grab it while it’s on sale!! :D

Also I have another new kit in the store. This one was temporarily called Poobah’s Bra. ROFL. She found the swatch & we were giggling about it in a conversation one day. Finally when the kit was done I called it Soul Sister. (however privately Poobah and I still call it Poobah’s Bra..bwhahahahaha).

DbyK_SoulSister-prev

Why is is called Soul Sister? Because Diane is literally my sister from another mother…and father. ROFL. She and I are so much alike it’s frightening. Same sense of humor/sarcasm. She completes me. :feel free to puke now: :P Anyhoo, when I was doing up the CT appreciation mini-kits, this swatch of Diane’s just spoke to me. It is one of my personal favorites!!! I could go on and on about this kit and my friendship with Poobah but I think instead I’ll show you what my girls have done with this beauty…. :D

10 years small-jan

By Jan: I just loved seeing how Morgan has grown over the years and those clusters are so pretty girl!!! :D

always-remember_joshNem-poobah

By Poobah: I just love the photo. A big, moody teenager gently holding a little girl’s hand….:sigh:

misty-kim

By Kim: I just love that face! Kim and I had a great conversation about how “unkind” the ’70s were …WTF were fashion designers thinking back then?! LOL

oh my beautiful doll-cate

By Cate: OMG I almost fell over when I saw this one. Micaila looks soooo grown up!!!!

sexy-bwahahahaha2

Bwahahaha!!!! By me and Poobah. Actually Poobah scrapped a LO of her hubby Shannon and showed it to me. Big Mistake. LOL. I extracted him OUT and inserted Poobah’s personal man candy. ROFL!!!! Hellllooooooooooooooo Sawyer!!!!!! :drools: Bwahahahahahaha!!!!

Sweetsoulsister-poobah

This one made me cry. Poobah stole a picture of me in 1997 from my Facebook and scrapped it. I read the journaling and just sobbed. Thanks so much Poobah!!!! I am very blessed to have met you & call you my soul sister!!!! Mwah!!! :D

Last but not least is what Miss Shannon did with the kit….Get a load of this!!!!!

DbyK_SoulSister-KeyAlbum-Preview

Isn’t that freakin’ GORGEOUS???!!!! Thanks so much Shannon!!! You get this beauty free with the purchase of the kit for one week only. Offer ends Sept 4th at midnight EST. Swing by the store and grab the kit while it’s on sale!!! :D

Now to this week’s freebie. It’s the LAST of the CT mini-kits and it also co-ordinates with the Soul Sister kit. :D

DbyK_ColorsOfpoobah-prev

Minikit is here:

Well that’s it for me today folks. Julie and I have to get the last of the shopping done, she’s got a friend coming over for the day, we take her to her grandparents tomorrow for the night, Steve and I get dolled up and go to a friend’s wedding on the Hamilton waterfront, pick the Diva up on Sunday  & then take Julie for our annual end of summer movie treat with dinner and mini-putt to finish it off. Run, run, run…..

See ya Monday!! (I hope)

Thanks Shaz!

More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can’t wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that’s not only better, but also more directly involves me.

  • Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong.
  • Have you ever been walking down the street and realized that you’re going in the complete opposite direction of where you are supposed to be going? But instead of just turning a 180 and walking back in the direction from which you came, you have to first do something like check your watch or phone or make a grand arm gesture and mutter to yourself to ensure that no one in the surrounding area thinks you’re crazy by randomly switching directions on the sidewalk.
  • I totally take back all those times I didn’t want to nap when I was younger.
  • The letters T and G are very close to each other on a keyboard. This recently became all too apparent to me and consequently I will never be ending a work email with the phrase “Regards” again.
  • Is it just me, or are 80% of the people in the “people you may know” feature on facebook people that I do know, but I deliberately choose not to be friends with?
  • Do you remember when you were a kid; playing Nintendo and it wouldn’t work? You take the cartridge out, blow in it and that would magically fix the problem. Every kid in the world did that, but how did we all know how to fix the problem? There was no internet or message boards or faq’s. We just figured it out. Today’s kids are soft.
  • There is a great need for a sarcasm font.
  • Sometimes, I’ll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and suddenly realize I had no idea what was going on when I first saw it.
  • I think everyone has a movie that they love so much, it actually becomes stressful to watch it with other people. I’ll end up wasting 90 minutes shiftily glancing around to confirm that everyone’s laughing at the right parts, then making sure I laugh just a little bit harder (and a millisecond earlier) to prove that I’m still the only one who really, really gets it.
  • How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?
  • I would rather try to carry 10 plastic grocery bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.
  • The only time I look forward to a red light is when I’m trying to finish a text.
  • Lol has gone from meaning, “laugh out loud” to “I have nothing else to say”
  • I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.
  • Whenever someone says “I’m not book smart, but I’m street smart”, all I hear is “I’m not real smart, but I’m imaginary smart”.
  • How many times is it appropriate to say “What?” before you just nod and smile because you still didn’t hear what they said?
  • I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars teams up to prevent a d1ck from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers!
  • Everytime I have to spell a word over the phone using ‘as in’ examples, I will undoubtedly draw a blank and sound like a complete idiot. Today I had to spell my boss’s last name to an attorney and said “Yes that’s G as in…(10 second lapse)…ummm…Goonies”
  • What would happen if I hired two private investigators to follow each other?
  • While driving yesterday I saw a banana peel in the road and instinctively swerved to avoid it…thanks Mario Kart.
  • Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.
  • I find it hard to believe there are actually people who get in the shower first and THEN turn on the water.
  • I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t at least kind of tired.
  • Bad decisions make good stories.
  • Whenever I’m Facebook stalking someone and I find out that their profile is public I feel like a kid on Christmas morning who just got the Red Ryder BB gun that I always wanted. 546 pictures? Don’t mind if I do!
  • Is it just me or do high school girls get s1uttier & s1uttier every year?
  • Why is it that during an ice-breaker, when the whole room has to go around and say their name and where they are from, I get so incredibly nervous? Like I know my name, I know where I’m from, this shouldn’t be a problem….
  • You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you’ve made up your mind that you just aren’t doing anything productive for the rest of the day.
  • There’s no worse feeling than that millisecond you’re sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
  • I’m always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten page research paper that I swear I did not make any changes to.
  • “Do not machine wash or tumble dry” means I will never wash this ever.
  • I hate being the one with the remote in a room full of people watching TV. There’s so much pressure. ‘I love this show, but will they judge me if I keep it on? I bet everyone is wishing we weren’t watching this. It’s only a matter of time before they all get up and leave the room. Will we still be friends after this?’
  • I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Dammit!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voicemail. What’d you do after I didn’t answer? Drop the phone and run away?
  • I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.
  • I like all of the music in my iTunes, except when it’s on shuffle, then I like about one in every fifteen songs
  • Why is a school zone 40kph? That seems like the optimal cruising speed for pedophiles…
  • As a driver I hate pedestrians, and as a pedestrian I hate drivers, but no matter what the mode of transportation, I always hate cyclists.
  • Sometimes I’ll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.
  • I keep some people’s phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.
  • The other night I ordered takeout, and when I looked in the bag, saw they had included four sets of plastic silverware. In other words, someone at the restaurant packed my order, took a second to think about it, and then estimated that there must be at least four people eating to require such a large amount of food. Too bad I was eating by myself. There’s nothing like being made to feel like a fat b@stard before dinner.
  • Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, hitting the G-spot, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey – but I’d bet my ass everyone can find and push the Snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time every time…
  • I wonder if cops ever get p1ssed off at the fact that everyone they drive behind obeys the speed limit.
  • I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

Morning folks!!! I slept in today. I forgot to set my alarm for 6 like I wanted to and instead got woken up by Steve at 7:30 when he came home from work. Whoopsy!!! I don’t like waking up like that. I run around all panicky (with my eyes all stuck together with sleep). At least now I’m sitting down with coffee and have the tunes going so I can chair dance and shake my booty awake. :P

I was RAK’d yesterday!!!! I was so excited!!! Misty O’Brien’s CT were cruising the galleries and thought they liked my scrapping. (I about fell over) So they gifted me with a gift certificiate to anything I wanted in Misty’s store!!! :D I chose Beachy is Peachy!

Got a new goodie in the store today!!! Meet Taylar’s Gift

DbyK_TaylarsGift-prev

Ooohhh Aaaahh!!!!  I have a crazy friend Liz who lives in my hometown. Taylar is her daughter. I did some layouts for Liz and created this kit to match the layout of Taylar.  Taylar LOVES purple. She painted one wall in her bedroom white with purple and acid green stripes, another in white with purple and green polka dots etc. Every wall is different and is ALL Taylar!!! This kit is loaded with those purples that Taylar loves so much as well there are two papers included that are reminiscent of Taylar’s bedroom walls. Taylar and Liz LOVED the kit and were touched that I asked so many questions and included details that were pure Taylar. :D

The girls have been scrapping fools for me this week. They worked with this kit and another coming out on Friday….have a peek!!!

Last year I was having a ton of problems with my hosting company and started looking around for a new Web Hosting Provider. I wanted a company with great customer service, first and foremost. Price was secondary in my mind.

Now there are so many different hosting companies and options to choose from. Most companies will tailor a package for your needs. What do you want your site to do? Is it for a blog only? Is it a commercial site?

screen shot

As you can see the prices per month for a blog hosting package are quite reasonable. I didn’t find this company when I started looking last year. I ended up moving my site to another company.

Do your homework when looking for a Web Hosting Provider. Compare prices and features. Ask yourself what is more important? Cheap prices or great customer service? If you decide that both of those is what you are looking for , then perhaps you should consider this company as your new Web Hosting Provider.

Who’s Deon? Well he’s Kim’s best friend. I haven’t met him in person but I have had my fun with him via email. He has a wicked sense of humor , is a shameless flirt and has a wonderful potty mouth. He’s made me fall off my chair laughing a few times. Gotta love a confirmed bachelor!! They’re so naughty!! ROFL!!!

Have a chair dance on me… :D

Puts me in my happy place. :P LOL!!

Anyhoo, Kim has continued her Friends series of kits by creating something right up Deon’s ally!!

folder

There’s also the co-ordinating QP set…

folder

and a set of gorgeous cluster frames…

folder

All are on sale separately or you can grab the full bundle too for a limited time so swing by and snag them up! All images are linked!!!

I even had a chance to scrap with the kit! (I have so many LOs on the go that I cant show ya..hang on a sec while I find them…LOL)

OK here’s the first one…

Caitlyn-600

This is Miss Caitlyn. She’s the best friend of one of the girls next door to us. She babysat Julie one New Year’s and the two of them STILL get along like gangbusters. Wherever Caitlyn goes, Julie is not far behind…LOL

This next one needs a little story first…ROFL!!! I’ve been giving my hubby crap lately about the pictures he takes. He takes good pics but 95% of them are birds, the dog, nature, deer bums (don’t ask..you’ll see soon enough) and other oddities. I asked him to PLEASE take pictures of humans so I can scrap them. He thought he was being smart last night and took a pile of pics of himself flexing, showing off his undies and a few others *snicker*. I decided to fix the bugger and scrapped him in his undies anyways…

Meet my Man Candy…

ManCandy600

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Gotcha Steve!!!! Pffftttttt! :P I’m sure that will come back and bite me in the ass later today but that’s OK…it was worth it!!! ROFL!!!

Well I’m out of here. Julie went on a last minute sleepover last night so I’m going to take advantage of the peace and quiet and have some coffee and some banana bread for breakfast. I would have liked to have had the last piece of sour cherry pie but  SOMEBODY /Steve ate it already….LOL

Have a good one! Swing by tomorrow to see some CT eye candy from my new kit!!!
