Rember how every time we talk to each other on the phone and you say “Guess what?”, and I say “You’re pregnant?”. NO… I am NOT pregnant but I sure THOUGHT I was until yesterday. Holy crap, my brain was just a whirling. I have had hot flashes and night sweats for the last two years so when my period didn’t show…and STILL didn’t show I was saying to myself “Oh shit”. ROFL!!! I remember I had cramps last month but the cycle itself didn’t surface. When I told Steve, the poor bugger looked like a deer in the headlights. We are 10 years from retiring and 4 years from being debt free. He REALLY wasn’t looking forward to working until he was 65, never mind all the other expenses along with having a child…especially when we gave EVERYTHING away. I had a tubal done when my daughter was 3 and the thought of a tubal failure was scaring the pee out of me. I talked to Diane and then scared Kim B. half out of her wits. ROFL!!! I asked her to do some funky South African tribal dance that would bring on the period gods. It’s never been late before, so when it’s THIS late, I panic.LMAO!!! After a few days of worrying, lo and behold, what showed up yesterday afternoon?!!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! I don’t think I have EVER been so happy to see my period!!! Thanks to Kim and her wacky dance to the blood gods, I am back to being mostly sane!!!! Thanks Kim!!! Mwah!
In other stupid news, I got the desktop formatted yesterday and I am mostly finished installing programs. Still have the scanner and printer to install but I think other than that. I’m done. I have to go into the city today to get a birthday gift for a party/sleepover Julie is going to this weekend & I also have a TON of new stuffs to scrap with if I get time. ROFL!!! It’s a busy one today folks. First up is getting my daughter ready for school..she’s a sloth today. LOL!!
My desktop is seriously possessed so I am just going to bite the bullet and format the friggin’ thing. Not what I wanted to be doing this week but it needs to be done. Get rid of a whole pile of stuff I downloaded and start fresh. Pretty bad when Norton couldn’t find the trojan but the freebie anti virus did.
I was so mad yesterday, if you stopped by my blog, you would have noticed at least 20 different template changes until I decided to stick with this one for a bit. Kind of scrappy. Not my product. Don’t know whose. Came with the template, but I like it, so there.
Anywho, I have been listening to Rob Zombie getting in the mood for the format (ROFL) and decided to switch the tunes and go with Tom Petty. Poobah was quoting Tom Petty yesterday..LOL

We had incredible weather this weekend. Sunny, warm and just plain old fabulous. Friday we took the TV tower down and added the new 10 foot section and Steve’s new antennae to it. Saturday was WAY too windy to attempt to put it up..especially since there are hydro lines about 25 feet away. Julie was invited to a friend’s for a sleepover and she had a ball playing at the fire station, hot tubbin’ and watching Marley & Me. Thanks so much Mandie!!! Can we have her on Saturday to sleepover? Sunday when Steve woke up he decided the weather was good enough to attempt to pull the TV tower back up. Got our two neighbors to give us a hand and then had to call another fella to help out. Two guys on the roof pulling ropes, one guy walking it up, one guy guiding the base and me holding ropes trying to prevent it from going near the hydro lines. It took about 45 minutes before we finally got it bolted into place but it’s done now. We are going to put in some more bolts to just make double sure it stays put in 100 kmh winds. Last night was really quiet. I had every intention of getting some designing done but watched Bridezillas instead. LOL
I have a busy day planned today but knowing me and how easily I get distracted, I’m sure all my plans will go right down the toilet. ROFL! Have a great day! Chat soon!

I don’t know what cracked me up more. The cat’s expression or the kid’s face as he’s trying to chew through his skull… all I know is that it was a great way to start my day.
Morning folks! We slept in today because of a PD day at school. Julie is home playing with the Webkinz waiting for her friend Emma to come over. I waiting for them to go outside so I can get something productive done. LOL!! I have 7 things I want to get extracted today. If I get 5 done I’ll be thrilled. If I get 2 done, I’ll be happy. LOL!! Today the temps are going to be warm and then switching to thunder boomers late this afternoon. It’s going to be a lovely sunny, warm weekend. Hopefully we’ll get the trampoline out of the neighbor’s barn, get the horseshoe pits weeded, we can get the extra section of tower installed for our antenna to go wireless cable in June and then we can get some work on the patio area. Steve bought the patio stones yesterday and the screening the day before so now we start. Once the patio is down, he can finish teh fireplace. The firebox is already built. He did that in March while we were away. Now it’s covering it up with stone. When we get that finished we can open the pool and heat it. Hard to iamagine I know but one we get rolling I’ll take pictures and hopefully you’ll be able to understand my husband’s brain and how it works. LOL!
