I already have the fuzzy pimp hat but I think I need a zoot suit too with those freaky big lapels right out of the 70′s…ROFL!!! I have so much stuff to pimp that I had to make a list. I need to make lists at the best of times because I can’t remember anything, so I’ll just tell ya what I have to tell ya and check each item off as I go…ready??

What the heck have I started?

I started spring cleaning & backing up the desktop on Friday. I just finished (Sunday night). Why did it take so long? I kept FINDING stuff buried down deep. ROFL!!! Because of my crappy filing system, I took it upon myself to organize the desktop. Purge, burn and delete…I did a fabulous job but it’s took forever because I went through every last folder (out of thousands-I love to make folders.LOL)  to double check I didn’t have anything stashed in there that shouldn’t be. LOL!!! I just finished burning and deleting all my plugins, brushes & tuts for PSP and Photoshop. I can’t even tell you how many DVD’s of stuff I had done. I know I have deleted over 97 Gigs of stuff from C & D drives… LOL!!. (I’m thinking I’m a digital pack-rat) This morning I was going through a folder of stuff and found over 800 MB of stuff I had stashed from various color swatch attempts and kits…I am bundling them up and will upload them for endless Friday freebies….I have finished 4 previews…still have 12 to do!!! ROFL!!! Oy. I’m not even going to attempt to defrag this thing until it’s all finished….

So…if you don’t hear from me for a few days, it’s because I’m doing previews and uploading myself to death. Might have to go to the library and do a whack of it from there…Diane, shove a cookie through the USB port every now and again for nourishment would ya? LOL

…I will never collect like that again….

Really lame title but I figure most of my visitors only come for the freebie anyway so who cares? LOL

Had a very productive day yesterday with Steve looking at and test driving cars. Most car salesmen are so freakin pushy. We went to a Chrysler dealership and looked and took out a Caliber for a test drive. Looks nice, drives rough. Well Mr. Salesman figured if we took the time to talk to him about the car and test drive it, we want it. We get back from the test drive (he gave us a 10 minute limit) only to find the paperwork is all drawn up..are we ready to sign? Um…NO!!!! I realize you NEED to make a sale but don’t assume that I’m going to purchase your car if I take it out on a test drive. The next dealership, the car was boring and the salesman was so not interested in a sale he couldn’t even find anything nice to say about the Cobalt. ROFL!!! Interesting sales pitch buddy. LOL!!! We went to another place where Steve had really done his research and knew his stuff. We had a great experience there but that’s all I’m going to say for now because I don’t want to jinx anything…Neener Neener!!!! Stay tuned!!

Today is the day that I back up the desktop. Julie will be at school and Steve is out for most of the day constructing the firebox for the patio outside . His redneck pool heater is evolving and will no longer be in the BBQ….don’t ask. I will take pics when he’s done dinkering with it…He’s a thinker Steve is…HAHAHAHA!!!!! Anyhoo, I will have a few hours of silence to get DVD’s burned, files deleted and possibly get it defragged before the tribes return and mayhem continues!! I’m aiming to clear off at least 75 Gig …would prefer if it’s 100Gig but beggars can’t be choosers….

This week has been flying. Julie said today was Thursday and I got my nose out of the laptop long enough to say “Huh?”. I have had SUCH a productive week I can’t even tell ya. ROFL!!! Got 4 kits reworked and finished a slew of other things… found a ton of stuff on my hard-drive in stupid places (my filing system on the desktop is cock-eyed) so I spent a ton of time finishing those projects.

It really hit home this week how CRAPPY my connection is so I started looking into wireless cable. I guess I can put up with a few more months of crap until my contract runs out in June…then see ya!!!! 

Steve and I are going window shopping for cars today. The Lemon is no longer funny so we are going hunting for it’s replacement. Nothing fancy. Just a 4 cylinder that Steve can take back and forth to work and I can take on long trips.

I need to clean out my 4Shared account and Photobucket as well. The computers need to be backed up as well and hard drives emptied so I think I know what I’ll be doing this weekend while Julie is at her grandparent’s…..spring cleaning everything out…. . I’ll be able to better organize the desktop when I’m done and it will run a whole lot better when I’m finished so it’s all good.

I’m off to get cleaned up, get Julie’s lunch made and then wake Steve up to go car shopping. Have a great day!

Morning!

This morning Julie and I were out the door early because she had an appointment at the orthodontist for impressions for a retainer. We get there, get her in the chair and lo and behold…she’s done so well with her teeth and palette spreader that they TOOK IT OFF TODAY!!!!! The child was so excited!! No retainer needed. No impressions. Her poor tongue doesn’t know where to go because there isn’t a slab of metal across the roof of her mouth anymore! ROFL!!! They said come back in 3 months for a check up. Wahoooooooo!!

I told her seeing as how we are happy in the face and are celebrating the early removal of her orthodontics, then she is entitled to a special dinner of whatever she likes. She chose coconut breaded shrimp (no surprise there), Tater Tots and key lime pie. LOL!!! Tonight we feast!!!!

On that note I am off to make the pie and do a little happy dance!!! Enjoy your day!!!! Wheeeeeeeeee!!!!

Really I do. Mostly because it means we get back into a routine and our crazy weekend is coming to an end! Yippee!!

Julie goes back to school today after having a week off for March Break. As you know she and I went away for a week and came back on Thursday afternoon. Did we get any rest since we got home? No. Friday morning I was in the dentist getting my TMJ guard. Actually works too…go figure. (jaw feels MUCH better) Friday , Julie had a friend over, Saturday she had another girl over (I had a VERY productive day locked in my office), Saturday night she was at a sleepover for a ANOTHER friend. Sunday I picked her up at 10:15 because I had to deliver her to a different girl’s house for 10:30. We haven’t really seen her much since Thursday afternoon, so we are really happy that she’s back in school…at least we will see her more often. Haha. This Friday she goes to her grandparent’s for the weekend, so we’ll just enjoy a quiet week. We have a few appointments this week. Tomorrow I have to take Julie to the orthodontist to have some impressions done and Thursday morning we go back so she can have the palette spreader removed. Thursday night we’re going to have a special dinner of shrimp alfredo to celebrate. She’s looking forward to eating linguine that hasn’t been cut up. It’s the little things that bring you joy…

I just have to show you the gnome that Whisker’s HATES. He doesn’t have a name yet…..

Whiskers won’t even sleep closer than 3 feet from it becaus the sensor will turn the gnome on and he’ll let one rip. Poor Whiskers lays a beating on this thing at LEAST 4 times a day!!! ROFL!!!! When I first opened this up I wasn’t happy because I thought it was a garden gnome and I HATE garden gnomes but Connie told me to shut up and try it out. I almost fell off my chair when I heard it farting. It is the BEST gag gift!!!

Well I’m going to sign off for now and see if I can have another productive day. I have some errands to run today but I have a killer summery swatch that I’m dying to get lost in….
