OK here’s the update on the tooth problem. Went yesterday. No abcess. No crack. Hooked me to an electricity thingy and I felt the electric charge just fine, thank you. Nerve is still VERY much alive. He thinks I have aggravated the tooth by my constant clenching. They took impressions for my guard and he gave me anti-inflammatories to help make the face feel better ‘cuz ibuprofen isn’t doing it any longer…We’re going to wait a week to see if it settles down with medication. My guard might be ready by then ..If it still is hurting after the week , then we look to other options (like root canal to kill the root so I won’t feel it anymore). He told me I am lucky it is my eye tooth that is bugging me. They respond the best to root canals as they are the strongest tooth in our mouths. Yeah, whatever buddy…good thing you are easy on the eyes because I am so NOT looking forward to further work done on my mouth.ESPECIALLY a root canal. Just keeping my fingers and legs crossed that the meds do the trick and the tooth settles down…My face hurt like a bugger last night after he poked me , stretched my jaw out and electrocuted my teeth. I’m not allowed to have any alcohol either with the meds…will aggravate my tummy…sigh.
Well that’s the scoop around here. Julie woke up this morning with a good fever and a nose full of snot. She’s mad that she can’t have a play date and is whining up a storm to wear us down. If she keeps it up she will get grounded to her room.
Yep I am snagging Diane’s title. I don’t think she’ll mind really…
Short post today . My face hurts. I have to go see the dentist this morning at 9 (which y’all know is my LEAST favorite thing on the planet) to have it checked out. In January I went to see him and found out some issues I had been having were TMJ. Insurance company has decided they are no longer covering anything to do with TMJ so the appliance has to come out of my pocket. If I have to do it, I will. However…my face still hurts. I don’t know if it’s an abcess or if I cracked a tooth from clenching. It has to be dealt with though. Ugh . (keeping my fingers crossed it’s just an abcess… ‘cuz I don’t feel like paying for another dentist’s car/home reno/kid’s university education etc..I’ve done it enough already.)
So to distract me (‘cuz I distract so easily ya know), I have the last part of February Fun.
This is the last part of this one. I loved the color swatch when I first saw it, loved it when I did the papers but should have stopped there. LOL !! Hopefully you can get some use out it!!
I have been awake and out of bed since 5:30. I am not amused. ROFL!! I’m not exactly tired. I feel rested but I could have done without the hot flashes this morning. I’m sure Steve feels the same…maybe then I will leave the blankets on the bed. LOL
I’m hiding today. Actually I’m going to lock myself in the office, away from the TV and other distractions (like my hubby) and just design. I am so behind it’s not even funny. This pastel-hell color swatch is driving me bananas but I am plodding through none the less. The things I do …LOL

Wow this week is zooming by fast! Happy Humpday!!! LOL! I so don’t feel motivated today to play in Photoshop. I played for a bit yesterday but then I got lost in code and couldn’t get out. I’ll finish up the one project tonight (I hope) but haven’t decided if I’m going to keep the other or not. We’ll see…
I have to go shopping for fabric today, Christmas fabric. NOT the best time of the year but I’ll go into the city to the textile district and I am sure I will find all kinds of stuff. Really should have made these Christmas gifts BEFORE Christmas…hahahaha. Oh well I will get what I can and wing it for the rest…

Good morning! I am unreasonably perky this morning. Sorry Connie! It might have something to do with the kid being back in school and the hubby working day shift today. Just me and the cats=blessed quiet. ROFL!!!
Had a great weekend. Friday was quiet. Steve spent the entire day out in the garage tinkering with the Yamaha. He took the old track off, cleaned it up and started to install the reverse on it before he decided he needed a few parts. LOL!! Now he waits until they come in. The snowmobile is in 1000 pieces on the garage floor and he can’t do anything until these gaskets come in. ..and we got snow this weekend!! ROFL!!! Saturday was our 12th wedding anniversary. Julie had a friend over in the afternoon but after she left we had a nice family dinner. I cooked a prime rib with the fixin’s. It was nice to sit down as a family and have a quiet, relaxed dinner. We haven’t done that , just the 3 of us in over a month. Steve and I never do anything romantic. Neither of us are mushy people. LOL. He never proposed. We both had been married before and the thought of planning a big wedding or ANY wedding for that matter, seemed to be too much of a PITA for me and too much money for him. LOL. We bought this house the year before and we wanted to be together & have a family together MORE than the wedding stuff to please other people, so we eloped. We were hoping to get married on Valentine’s Day but they only do one wedding a week here in town at the courthouse, and Feb 14th was already taken so we took the next available date. LOL! It’s been an amazing ,laughter filled journey and I feel truly blessed to have this wacko as my husband!!! OK enough of the mushy shit… Sunday was quiet. Julie was at a friend’s for the afternoon and Steve took the dog for a run with MY pink & purple Arctic Cat. I made him ask permission first, mostly because I like to torture him. LOL. I told him he could borrow it but not to smash it. LOL. I got a snowball in the head for being a cow. ROFL!!! Had a big feast of Julie’s favorite, garlic shrimp alfredo, for supper and spent the evening in front of the boob tube watching stuff on UFO’s. I keep telling Steve the mother ship is coming back to get him. It just can’t find him. but there are lots of sightings….LOL

Had a very BLOND week last week. I was cleaning out Facebook and was deleting groups that I had my contacts in and instead deleted the contacts as well. Now I am in the process of re-adding friends and the family I deleted too.(over 72 of them…ugh) I am just going to leave Facebook as a disorganized mess from now on.LOL!!! My eyesight wasn’t the best either. I was reading words wrong and my eyebrows were rising up going WTF?!!!! Gave my head a shake and then read it properly…LOL!!! can’t say much more than that for now.Sorry. LOL!!!!
Well I’m going to sign off and try and work with this pastel color swatch. I know…pastels blow and this one even has 2 shades of blue. What the hell was I thinking? We’ll see if I go insane by the end of the week….
